Super Happy Mondays 10

This week is most certainly a doing week. My exams are drawing closer and closer so there is a tonne of revision to do. On top of that the ukulele orders are coming in thick and fast (I wanted to share a post about the business but I didn't know if it would be a boring read? I don't want to seem like I am self promoting, I'd love to hear your thoughts). I also really must get started on my Christmas content but oh my goodness I have been so busy! I think I will continue to be really busy for the next couple of weeks so I hope you don't mind that there will be a bit of an imbalance between DIY posts and lifestyle posts.Sorry guys. Anyway I must dash because I have an apple cake in the oven which is my reward for working extra hard. Enjoy this week's finds; they're a bit Christmas themed because I am totally feeling the Christmas spirit right now.
I really want to make a gingerbread house this year. I say I will absolutely every year and then I never ever do but this year I am determined. I thought this infographic (can it be an infographic if it's a photo?) was really neat for showing all sorts of piping techniques. It kind of reminds me of the ikea cookbook.
I am currently using this playlist for our Christmas decorating sessions. It is awesome and perfectly festive.
I love the idea of the doing these 3D paper shapes on the wall. Minimum time but maximum impact. I'm thinking of doing something similar with mistletoe.
This would definitely be on my wish list but I'm not sure if it's a photoshopped thing. I know this says it's available but this image is photoshopped for sure so I would always be a little suspicious of how it would turn out.
Lastly I'd like to show this little making of video because it is mesmerising. I'm having such problems with this advert. I think it makes me cry too much to actually enjoy it. I have a real thing with crying at cartoons; much more so than with real life people. I think the Hare's face just gets me too much. It's just a bit too distraught looking. Oh I dunno, I'm sure it's just me.

  3. Lovely post Ally! I think it would probably be interesting to do a business post but then whenever I'm about to write a post about running WOLF PACK or my music I think it will be boring for people and never do so I understand the conundrum! I personally would find it interesting but I'm a ukulele player and I run a music company so I'm probably biased! I've actually not seen the John Lewis advert yet! You've just reminded me I need to track it down. XX

  4. I have MSGM stuff and it is super quality (it should be for the price!) - I think it would turn out a lot like the photo...
